Interesting idea. I have actually been thinking about this since noticing the UPS trucks have the roofs painted white (I know most of you are not tall enough to see that) and I am considering reflective material for my bedroom windows….The comments at the bottom bring up some interesting issues - more on the big picture vs. the nitty grit of painting the town white.

More Craziness
So in addition to cleaning and nullifying all of our Chametz (leavened bread) we also burn some the morning before Pesach starts. Some people do this in their fire place, others on the back porch. So today was definitely a day of interesting rituals. First there is the whole pesach cleaning that has been going on and us firstborns don’t eat until we hear a Siyum. But we had Birchat HaChamah which is the celebration and thanksgiving that comes every 28 years. I still hate Baltimore City
So, we all know that I have been pissed with the city about the inability to get my sewer fixed. So yesterday, while I should have been cleaning the house fpr Peseach, it backed up again - worse than ever. So now I have to spend hours wet vacing (is that a verb?) the basement and removing the floor tiles because the water got under them - big pain. Also, the basement now stinks like, well sewage....
