We are not done…I jsut can’t get answers…I call once or twice a week…each time the conversation is pretty much the same.. “I see your problem” “You are correct, we did find a problem but have not addressed it” “There is a recod of your problem but no plans to address it” and each conversation ends with a promise to figure out why...

Worldwide, seven boxes of Lego are sold every second. Heo Young-Ho of South Korea left Lego on the top of Mount Everest in 1987. According to Lego, even just two bricks give 24 different combinations. All Legos are made equal. Every brick is compatible from the first brick made in 1958 (the year before the Guggenheim was completed and Wright died) to those made today. The Lego minifig was...

“The truth is, this kind of thing happens all the time — usually with wedding rings or cellphones,” he said. “People have probably been getting their hands stuck in toilets as long as there have been toilets.”

Thank you to everyone that supported me and farm - your donantions make a huge difference!

Help Needed
So after work today, I decided I needed to put my bike to use and take my first real bike ride in years, and probably (sadly enough) my longest since Stoop and I rode the 30 miles to camp in the late 90s. So I picked a 13 mile route that went from my house up Falls road, across Hillside, and back down Stevenson. Along the way, I found a cool trail riding area (off Falls road by Robert E Lee Park)...

The Yankees Want to Ruin Baseball
gilichu: tylerknott: Check out this sad little fact, via Kottke: Ticket prices at the new Yankee Stadium are so high that if a New Yorker wants to watch a Mariners/Yankees game from the best seats, it would be a lot cheaper to fly to Seattle, stay in a nice hotel, eat fancy dinners, and see two games. Option 1: Two tickets to Tuesday night, June 30, Mariners at Yanks, cost for just the...

“It was sticking out too far, They will just have to clean it up”
– old lady in the grocery store after parking her cart in one lane and then checking out the other lanes to see which moved quickest. She determined that mine was moving quicker so she got in line behind me, but then saw someone move towards her old lane, had second thoughts, and whipped her cart...

Racial Profiling
I know, based on my previous post that the comments will start coming in about what its like to be racially profiled etc…I understand. I am not saying the Chinese don’t have a right to do this, I am just saying its a crazy overreaction and part of the reason companies are looking elsewhere in Asia to move manufacturing.

China trip cancled
I was supposed to go to China Tuesday next week…but as you may have seen on the news, the government has been quarantining people for North America. Last week, I recived notice that the new policy was to keep everyone on the plane after landing and go through and do body temperature scans. If you have a fever, quarantined. If you are near someone with a fever, you get locked up in a hotel...

Its been a while, but the story isn't over...
So, in the past month, the water has not backed up into the house again, but the city hasn’t done anything to fix it yet and I have not put anything back in the basement that would be damaged. Also, running the laundry machine is a gamble everytime…so I called the city again. The first guy I talked to said I should call 311, the general line and tell them everything I told him and they...
