Its been a while, but the story isn’t over…

So, in the past month, the water has not backed up into the house again, but the city hasn’t done anything to fix it yet and I have not put anything back in the basement that would be damaged. Also, running the laundry machine is a gamble everytime…so I called the city again. The first guy I talked to said I should call 311, the general line and tell them everything I told him and they would take care of it. But I am smarter than that. Thats where I started 2 months ago….so I called the General Superindentant of the Water and Wastewater management division. I only got as far as his secretary but she says “well her is the problem, and we see this alot. The crew videoed the line and reported lots of details about what they saw, but they didn’t diagnosis the problem so we can’t fix it” “We can only put in a work order for a specific problem” “I will pass this along to the Super, but he will most likely say that we need to send another video crew to take a look again”

So, thats where we stand…waiting, and I bet this crew comes and sees nothing wrong…..argh….anyway, the higher up the food chain I get it seems the secretaries are nicer and a bit more compassionate…
