These are the steep stairs up top the tower of the Cathedral in Durham. I got lucky and I was in town the one and only day they have opened the Cathedral to photogrpahers (normally no photo allowed) so I have a bunch of pics (in poor light) of the magnificent art, stained glass, carvings, etc. All a few hundred years old…
