I still hate Baltimore City

So, we all know that I have been pissed with the city about the inability to get my sewer fixed. So yesterday, while I should have been cleaning the house fpr Peseach, it backed up again - worse than ever. So now I have to spend hours wet vacing (is that a verb?) the basement and removing the floor tiles because the water got under them - big pain. Also, the basement now stinks like, well sewage. So, I call the city: Me: My city sewer line is backed up. Could you please send out a crew to snake the line? Them: a host of stupid questions as usual Me: Could you also send out a video crew to check the line. You will see in my file (if you have one) that this is the 4th time in as many weeks and I have not gotten an answer from anyone about the problem or whether you plan to fix it. Them: No. I can’t send a video crew Me: Who can? Them: The inspector Me: Can I talk to an inspector: them: no, they don’t work on Sundays Me: Can you give me the number so I can call tomorrow? Them: No, they don’t have a direct number Me: So I can call you and then you will transfer me Them: No. I can’t transfer you if they don’t have a number Me: So how do I get a hold of them Them: you can’t Me: So how do I get a video crew out here Them: the inspector will send them Me: How will the inspector know to do this Them: He will look at the pipe and if needed he will send them Me: Does the inspector know that I have backed up 4 times this month? Them: No Me: How do I let them know? Them: They don’t need to know, they will just look at the pipe and they can tell Me: Well they have failed miserably thus far. I want to speak with the investigator Them: You can’t Me: Can I talk to your supervisor Them: Not on Sunday. Call back tomorrow.
